Our Kennel

We started, about 14 years ago, with just one Labrador Retriever female "Sandy". Our friends had a good, young male hunter. We thought they would make good puppies together and provide others with good hunters. We have slowly grown from there. Our Labradors have proven to be good dogs. Many are used for hunting purposes and have competed in the field and trial competition. We have a couple of dogs in the search and rescue program in Joplin, Mo.
We went on to breed some of our personal favorites in the lap dog category.  Miniature Schnauzers came first. They love to sit quietly in your lap at night while you watch TV but at the same time are willing to run and romp in the yard with the kids in the daytime. These dogs are great with kids and are tough enough to roughhouse with them. They don't shed in the house either.
By now I have enough dogs that I am reqired to get a KS state and USDA license, so I figured why not grow some more. I have always wanted to have a Yorkshire Terrier and my kids are now old enough to respect this dog's  more delicate nature.  They are "big dogs" in a little dog body. They only think they can do what everyone else does. These little angels are marvelous companions.
We also have Standard Poodles, Shih Tzus, Cairn Terriers and Chinese Crested hairless dogs. Standard Poodles are highly intelligent dogs that are easily trainable and hypoallergenic. Shih Tzus are sweet, loving dogs. They are like little mops with a bundle of engergy. Cairn Terriers are always "happy go lucky." They are full of energy and are always ready to play, camp, hike and go on family outings. Chinese Crested come in two vareties, hairless and powder puff. The hairless dog is a very good dog for people who are aglergic to dogs but love and want one in their lives.
All puppies $250 or more will be microchipped. They have had a chip the size of a piece of rice implanted between their shoulder blades. Each chip features an exclusive number that can be registered to the new owner's name on a nationwide database. This means that if the dogs were ever lost or stolen they could be traced back to the owner. Customers wanting to purchase a microchip for puppies under $250 may do so through our company for less than most veterinarians charge.
I enjoy raising good quality, well socialized puppies that go into new homes, to become members of the family just like every single one of mine are.
